TODAY’s GAMES:

Boys Soccer @Marin Academy; JV and V 3:15p (Early Release 2p)

SWIM TEAM PRE-SEASON MEETING – is today on the pool deck during lunch. If it is raining, we will be in the Dance Room.  Swim Season is right around the corner! Come meet the coaching staff, hear about our upcoming season and enjoy a free slice of pizza. All swimmers who plan to swim OR are even thinking about swimming in the Spring should attend. CLASS MEETINGS TODAY at lunch:

Seniors (Class of 2018) – meeting will be today in Mr. Morales’ classroom SC101. We will be talking about Prom, See’s candy fundraiser and more.

Junior (Class of 2019) – meeting will be in LA217

CLASS MEETINGS on FRIDAY at lunch:

Sophomore (Class of 2020) – meeting in Ms. Pikk’s Room SC104

Freshmen (Class of 2021) – meeting in Mr. Allen’s room LA219. We will be discussing a See’s Candy fundraiser. See you there.

SPRING PLAY ART CONTEST – Create a poster for our school’s Spring play! Paper provided. Due by February 2nd to Mrs. Yi. There is a cash prize! (Yi – 1/17-1/18)

ART DEPARTMENT T-SHIRT DESIGNS are due to Mrs. Yi by Friday, January 19th.  We are looking forward to seeing your amazing designs! (Yi-1/16-1/19)

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES:

*FILM -- The California film festival is hosting “My Place my story” a FREE intensive filmmaking program. Come to the CCC to grab a flyer and register to secure your spot. Workshop takes place in Feb but space is limited. Act fast now! (1/10-1/19)

*CONSTRUCTION -- The Spring Learn to Build Class is open for registration. Come to the CCC to grab your flyer with information and to register before space runs out! (1/10-1/19)

*TEACHING -- Register and apply for the 2nd annual Education Careers Academy taking place in February, Come to the CCC to grab your flyer and register before space runs out! All students welcomed to apply. See Ms. Nunez for questions. (1/10-1/19)

*LAW ENFORCEMENT -- Two San Rafael law enforcement officers will talk to students in the CCC during Advisory on Wed. Jan. 24th. Sign up in the CCC early to get a pass; space is limited to the first 25 students. (1/12-01/23)

CONGRATS to Deybi Maldonado for his 2nd place at the Sonoma Valley HS Varsity Tournament. At the Albany HS JV Tournament, Aidan Lubamersky took 1st, and Berlin Montepeque, Kassandra Juarez, Andres Velasco, and Liam Lubamersky all had pin wins.

INTERACT CLUB— Interested in Volunteer opportunities?  Come to the Interact Club today at lunch in S106. (Kalish-Wednesdays)
